What do we have in store for the last week of term... Read below to find out.

Literacy learning outcomes:

Knowledge:

To know the main features of a report.

Skill:

To be able to read a text.

To be able to find information in a text.

To be able to discuss a text.

To be able to write a non-chronological report

Understanding

       To explain how to write a report.


Mathematics learning outcomes:

Knowledge:

To know the division facts of 3, 4 and 6 times tables.

Skill:

To be able to recognise half turns and right angles.

To be able to draw the reflection of a shape in a mirror line. 

To be able to work out remainders when dividing.

Understanding

       To explain how you can find a right angle. 


International Primary Curriculum (IPC) learning outcomes:

          Unit: SHAKE IT  Theme: CHANGES

Knowledge:

To know the different steps of milk production

Skill:

To be able to record the different steps of milk production. 

Understanding

      To explain why many people drink milk as part of a healthy diet.


The last 2 days of this week will be a reflection of the unit. Children will be given the opportunity to reflect on the knowledge, skills and understanding gained in this unit.
