Another exciting week of learning ahead... In IPC we continue our look into forces by  designing and making a marble run in Technology. We will then be ready to start our new unit 'Let's Plant It!' 

-In preparation for International Children's Day, please send in a white t-shirt with your child's name in

**Home Learning**
-Please make sure your child brings their home learning folder to school every Friday. 
Their spelling reflection score will be written on the previous week's sheet, please check this with your child to see how they've done.
-Please practice the times tables and related division facts for the 3, 4, 6 and 7 times tables e.g. 3 x 4 =... and 12 divided by 4 = .....

Literacy learning outcomes:


To know how to use inserted clauses.

To know the features of a non-chronological report.


To be able to read a text.

To be able to find information in a text.

To be able to discuss a text.

To be able to use inserted clauses to add extra information.

Mathematics learning outcomes:

        To know the 8 times tables.
        To know what a right angle it.
        To know the meaning of 'horizontal', 'vertical', 'parallel' and 'perpendicular'

        To be able to answer multiplication questions based on the 8 times tables.
        To be able to identify horizontal and vertical lines and pairs of perpendicular and parallel lines. 
        To be able to identify right angles and angles that are bigger/smaller than a right angle.

        To explain or demonstrate the terms 'horizontal', 'vertical', 'parallel' and 'perpendicular'
