In our school, thoughtfulness means your are deep thinking about your learning.

The Big Question:

How can we group animals?

The children used a Rally Round to try and answer this question.
They placed their animal in the middle and compared it to the other animals. They had to explain their thinking if they felt some animals belonged together- both animals have fur, these all eat meat, these are all living in the water...
We found out that different teams had organised their animals in different ways.
After that we learned we can also group animals into mammals, birds, fish, insects, reptiles and amphibians.
