In Science we learned to make our own Ice Cream!
With our partner we made an ice cream with milk and the other one with cream.
We kept all the other ingredients the same to make the test fair. We will compare the similarities and differences.

I know the steps of the scientific method

I can set up a scientific experiment with help

Use your thoughtfulness to evaluate your experiment and your adaptability to change it and make it better.

Learning comments from the children:

I learned that salt makes ice colder.
I learned that you have to close your ziplock bag before you mix your ice cream!
I learned that cream sticks to my cup and milk doesn't.
Learning comments from the children:

I learned that you have to cooperate to make the ice cream; your partner has to hold the bag when you fill it.
I learned that my cookie sunk to the bottom of the bag with milk but the cookie mixed with the cream.
I now know that you have to make accurate measurements.
I now know that my prediction was right!

I learned that you have to freeze the liquid to make it into a solid. The mix turns into ice and then you can eat it!
