When we try one way and it doesn't work we will use our thoughtfulness and adapt our ideas to try out other ways. This is an important skill when learning to investigate and learn to solve problems.

In IPC we will be learning science
We will be testing freezing and melting of ice and recording this using our knowledge and skills we learned in maths to make bar charts, tally charts and tables.

I know the vocabulary to describe the states of water.
I know the steps of the scientific method.

I can conduct scientific investigations with help.

I recognise if a test is fair or not and why.

I know alphabetical order, glossary, dictionary.

I can make my own glossary/dictionary of words related to our IPC Unit Freeze it!

I know my number bonds to 10 and 20
I know my number bonds in multiples of 10 to make a 100

I can subtract a multiple of 10 from a 2-digit number by counting back in 10's
I can add and subtract 9, 11, 19 and 21 by adding and subtracting 10 and 20
