Thoughtfulness means thinking about your learning. We are focusing on improving our learning by using thinking strategies. Last week we focused on See, Think, Wonder. (Whole school)

I know my maths vocabulary: estimate, capacity, scale, measure, litres, millilitres.
I can estimate, measure and compare capacities in litres and millilitres.
I can read a simple capacity scale.

This week will will be thinking of situations where we could use our knowledge and skills of capacity in a real situation. We will apply our knowledge and skills of capacity when cooking/baking.

I know different types of information texts and the characteristics of an information text.
I can design questions about an information text.

Understanding  Being able to design  questions for a text deepens the understanding of the text. Teams then give their questions to another team to check if they can find the answer in the information text.

The children will be learning ICT

To be able to enter, save, retrieve and revise documents.
To be able to use ICT to present information.
To be able to work with text, tables, images and sound.
