Learning about Learning- Knowledge

The Big Question

How do we learn knowledge and how do we remember it?

We experimented with using 3 strategies to remember 10 things
- Chunking- organizing them into groups that belong together
Image result for chunking strategy pictures
- Making a silly connection between them- like a story or exaggeration or a link that makes sense to you

- Repeat and revisit

We learned that most of us remembered more things when we used our strategies
We learned that 1 of us did not remember more or less
We learned that some of us remembered less things

We will investigate this further and repeat the test to see if our results change over time
We linked Learning about learning to science- how to set up an investigation - and to our maths: how can we record our results?

We used a bar chart and 2 different colors
