Literacy Learning
We will continue to learn traditional rhymes and poems for our upcoming assembly on Friday the 20th May.

We will use the short week to reflect on reflect on the the childrens reading and spelling in class.
Children will be bringing spellings home to learn and I will be able to share more about this with you during the Literacy Information Evening on Wednesday.

As part of our literacy learning children will be acting out nursery rhymes.
Writing a small sketch/plot to help with their performance.

The short week will allow us time to reflect on our maths learning so far this term and will allow us to offer additional support and reinforcement within the class.

Please practise at home asking your child to find 10 more/10 less than a 2 digit number up to 100 as well as 1 more/1 less.  This will help with the learning at school.

Tasks are set for children to complete on Mathletics weekly.
The tasks set usually support the learning we do in class or help children to revise areas of maths that we have already covered or areas that need focus.

Children are expected to complete a minimum on 2 x 15 minute sessions at home per week.
Certificates are handed out to pupils at the start of the week for the previous weeks learning activities.

IPC- All Dressed Up
We will start our IPC learning through Geography this week.

To know about similarities and differences between clothes and climates in different countries.

To be able to use geographical terms
To be able to communicate their knowledge and understanding in a variety of ways
