Entry Point!

We had a fantastic Entry Point to our new unit on Monday morning, with a lot of learning and a lot of fun! The children came dressed up in clothes from an occupation. There were construction workers, garbage worker, vets, doctors, singers, dancers, police officers, cowboys, chefs and engineers!

We shared our learning with P3 and used our enquiry skills to investigate the day in the life of vets, artists, bakers, archeologists and scienists as we visited the different stations. After the morning break, we came together to reflect on our learning, communicating our ideas and our reflections on our learning with each other.

Here are a few snaps from the morning.

This coming week we are looking forward to continuing our learning journey as we begin with our Society learning next week.
The BIG question driving our enquiry is:

What is a community and what does a community need?

We will brainstorm ideas about our communities both in our home and host countries and how people contribute to society in different ways.
