Week 3 12th-16th Sept

Its been a very busy week here in P1 with lots more learning all linked to our 'This is Me' topic. We have been looking at what makes us the same and what makes us different and talking lots about the different emotions that we feel. 

Thank you for those of you who came to the Information Evening I hope you found it useful. For those of you who did not make it then the handouts are attached to this post. Next week we are beginning our 2nd learning block of our IEYC topic [This is Me] calledMy Home, for which I need your help;

Please could you send me some digital photos of

  1. The outside of your home here in Sakhalin.
  2. If possible, the outside or inside of your home from your home country or other houses your child may have lived in before coming to Sakhalin.
  3. Your child inside a room in your house here in Sakhalin eg; playing with the toys in the bedroom, eating tea in the dining room/kitchen, watching tv in the living room.It does not have to be every room just a couple.

 We will be learning lots about different homes and where we have lived so please could you let me know which country your child was born and where they have lived. If you could send this information to the email address below by next Thursday I would be very grateful.

Next Tuesday afternoon we will be going on a short walk around Zima on a ‘Homes Hunt” looking at all the different types of houses and visiting a home to look at different rooms.
