Dear parents,

It’s the time of the year again where we inform you about the school show. It will take place towards the end of term 2 on Friday evening the 17th of March. The whole school will be involved in the show.

This year’s play is based on two of Roald Dahls ‘Revolting Rhymes’. 2016 Marked 100 years since his birth. Since he’s one of the world’s greatest storytellers, we thought we would honour him in our play this year. The children will perform a musical retelling of Roald Dahls version of the traditional tales ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and ‘The Three Little Pigs’.

The show will involve singing, dancing and acting. This year your child will be a Woodland Animal.

For this we ask you to put together or buy a costume. We know it’s early, but we share this information now so people have the chance to get something over the Christmas holiday. Be aware the school will not reimburse for any costumes being bought.

The children can dress as any woodland animal of your choice. We will make masks in class so all you need to do is find is a plain t-shirt & plain pants/leggings on one of the colours below;

Fox: Orange top and bottom

Squirrel: Grey or black top and bottom

Rabbit: White top and bottom

Deer: red top & bottom

Owl: brown top and bottom

If you have any questions please direct them to the classroom teacher or the class parent.

Thanks to everyone today who provided food for the party and to the mums who came to help decorate the classroom. The children had lots of fun and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
