We are excited to begin our new Unit called Dinosaur Detectives this coming week! For our Entry Point the children will help to create props to contribute to our dinosaur jungle. Then we will assemble them in the role-play area and explore the imaginative Dinosaur World! We will also set up a Dinosaur museum where the children can enquire about dinosaur facts as well as look for fossils and remains using special tools.

Our Big Question this week is; Have you ever seen a dinosaur? How about a real dinosaur?

This will begin an initial enquiry for the children into the history of dinosaurs. We have lots of books, images and media for the children to explore and learn more. You can watch this one at home to start your own enquiry about dinosaurs…

This week we will practice showing the Personal Quality Respect. The children are learning to show respect towards their classroom. They do this by being an active helper when it is tidying up time, taking care with our games and furniture and contributing to our role-play area in the learning activities this week.

Parent Notices:

If your child would like to give a friendship valentine on Tuesday you can deliver it to your friends tray in the play hall    <3    <3
