posted 8 Dec 2016, 18:15 by Nursery Teacher 2

This coming week our learning will focus on the Big QuestionWhat winter celebration is special to you?

We will begin to explore the winter season this week by looking at weather as well as celebrations that happen at this time. We will use a clip from the movie Frozen to get the children excited about ice and snow. The learning will link to this as we explore and enquire about real ice, snow and winter. We will then look at animals that live in cold climates and how they survive the winter and make some of own through craft activities. You can practice your enquiry skills at home by learning some new facts about Polar bears and penguins below… (*click on the photo*)
