Thank you for your emails over the last two week sharing your photos of all your home learning. It has been great to be able to keep the school/home links connected over these weeks away.
If you have any further Gingerbread Man photos/activities of learning please send them in as the Nursery have been asked to create a little book using them. The book will give other classes ideas and help build their interest in reading the story.

A review of our main learning strands this week;

Independence and Interdependence

1.9 their ability to acquire new interests and skills

2.11 stories and literature valued by cultures in their community

3.4 taking part in symbolic, pretend or dramatic play

 Healthy Living

4.4 paying attention

Today's reflection tasks...

1.  Kitchen Hunt: Print the page and read out one question at a time showing them the photo of the item they are to search for.

As a reflection on the children's new skills and experiences in the kitchen you can take part in a Kitchen Hunt. This will help them reflect on their knowledge of the names of various kitchen tools. It will also develop their communication skills, practicing listening and responding to a question. They can take responsibility "ticking/check" yes or no as they search for each item. If an item is difficult to find you could provide your child with clues to make it a fun interactive game.

2. Home Learning Photographs:
Use these as a reflection for your child to help them chat about their home learning over the past couple of weeks.
