We have now come to the end of our Changes Unit. This week coming we have our Reflection Week. The children will have the opportunity to reflect on all their new skills and knowledge they have learned from across their Changes Unit. We have selected a different theme of learning for each day.

We will have our exit point this week where the children will have a fashion show. This will enable them to practice their skill of changing clothes. We will also change our faces using face paints!

The children will have a big focus on Thoughtfulness, one of our IPC Personal Qualities. They will practice talking about and reflecting on their learning in the Changes Unit. They will have opportunities to choose their favourite learning activities they experienced previously in the unit.

These are four main learning strands that we are focusing on this week;

Independence and Interdependence

1.6 their family background

Communication

2.20 using different media to express a mood or a feeling or for represent different information

Exploring

3.17 enquiring, researching and exploring to draw conclusions about the world around them

Healthy Living

4.6 coping with change
