It’s the time of the year again where we begin to look ahead to the school show. It will take place towards the end of term 2 on Friday the 17th of March. The whole school will be involved in the show.

This year’s play is based on two of Roald Dahl’s ‘Revolting Rhymes’. 2016 Marked 100 years since his birth. Since he’s one of the world’s greatest storytellers, we thought we would honour him in our show this year. The children will perform a musical retelling of Roald Dahl’s version of the traditional tales ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and ‘The Three Little Pigs’.

The show will involve singing, dancing and acting. This year Middle Years students will be involved with technical support, scene shifting, scenery and prop design and build and backstage support. For this we ask you to provide them with dark clothing, preferably black for the night of the performance. We know it’s early, but we share this information now so people have the chance, if need be, to get something over the Christmas holiday. Be aware the school will not reimburse the cost for any costumes being bought.

If you have any questions please contact the class teacher or the class parent.
