As we begin our new unit "Communication" we will look to link learning to the Big Idea "When information is shared accurately and clearly the end result is more effective".

Students will have the opportunity to visit a local TV station this week as part of their Entry Point and will look to collate their initial ideas through the Knowledge Harvest.

In Technology the students will look to command simple robots with software that allows them to see how flow diagrams and clear instructions can allow tasks to be carried out.

In doing this the following learning outcomes will be covered:

Be able to respond to identified needs, wants and opportunities with informed designs and products (IMYC 4.6)
Be able to investigate the way in which simple products in everyday use are designed and made and how they work (IMYC 4.10)

Maths learning this week includes the following learning outcomes:

I am able  to identify different quadrilaterals and parts of a circle
I am able to visualise cross sections
I am able to use geometrical equipment to make circle constructions.
I am able to bisect an angle.
